Ah…film. How I miss it. I shot Christina with a Contax 645 & Ilford XP2 & Kodak 400VC (those just sound like the names of good old friends!). There just seemed to be a velvety quality about these images, which so perfectly evoked Christina’s essence & effortless beauty. She embodies a sexiness that is both deep & dark as well as free & light. She is always one of my favorite muses…Stay tuned for more of her…
Ah, the lithe & lovely Erin Lamont! Gorgeous & talented & down-to-earth–the real triple threat! She’s a dancer & choreographer & generous model in every way. I tried to capture her in both her more relaxed, undone self, as well as her talented moving self. And when people describe a woman with “impossibly long legs”–that is meant for Erin! It was a thoroughly enjoyable, improvised shoot–and full of Erin’s authentic energy. Deena’s boudoir portraits were a gift for her husband, with whom she has two beautiful kids. I have known Dee for many years, since we were both in high school & living overseas. Her latest manifestation was the beautiful & most confident I’d ever seen her. For this shoot, it was like she shed her cocoon and released her inner pin-up, rock-star butterfly!
Erika is one of my oldest pals–we’ve known each other since high school. She possesses an unabashed lust for life–and just loves to laugh. And she laughs at herself, which is something I aspire to! I took these photos when we were both still single & looking, & even though she is now a wife & mother of two, she is as hot as ever! I’ll have to take some new photos of her soon…
